Twenty Five
Boy have we had a lot of changes this past semester. Besides getting married and moving to Arizona
I turned the big 2-5. Quarter of a
century. If that doesn’t make you feel
old, I don’t know what will.
It was a lot of fun celebrating my birthday with the kids at
school. They were so sweet!
My French birthday cakes
The decorations- so cute!
I definitely felt very loved
Student Teaching
Student teaching was awesome. I loved every minute of it. It definitely helped that I had an incredible
Cooperating Teacher who bent over backwards to help me be successful. We also had a LOT of fun together; I felt
like we could have been college roommates.
Graduation
I’ve graduated! Boy
does it feel good. Five years later and
I have a BA and a BS to my name. Hurrah!
I had a lot of fun designing my announcements- here are two
of them.
This one depicts the long journey to graduation.
I did it!
Graduation Present
So for graduation/life we bought a new fancy schmancy camera (a Nikon D3200 to be precise). Leighton planned a cute date out on a scenic hike to try out the new camera!
Career
So, I would never wish applying for teaching jobs upon my
worst enemy. Applications are a
beast. I am so grateful to everyone who
has been praying for me and looking out for jobs for me. This past Friday I accepted a full-time job
in the Tempe School District. I’ll be
working at McClintock High and Marcos de Niza High teaching level I and level
II/III French. I am so excited that I will
be able to be teaching French!
